DESCRIPTION

Has extreme resistance to PVY, moderate resistance to late blight and to drought. It is appreciated for it high yield. It has a medium growing period and decumbent plant habit with lilac flowers. Tubers are oblong with pale yellow flesh. Gikungu can be used as a table potato and for processing as chips.
