The digital CIP Potato Catalogue builds upon the 2014 and 2017 editions (Falcon et al., 2014; Bonierbale et al., 2017). Like its predecessors, this edition offers an updated compilation and detailed descriptions of newly released improved varieties and trait-specific advanced clones from CIP’s genetic improvement program. These have been developed to address the demands of diverse market segments across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Some clones have already been officially released in one or more countries, while others are advanced selections intended for use in breeding programs. All listed clones and varieties are currently available for international distribution upon signing an SMTA.
For details on how to access these clones or varieties, please refer to the contact form or contact information provided in the catalogue.
